Kočno ob Ložnici is a village on the right bank of the river Ložnica in the Slovenska Bistrica municipality in northeastern Slovenia. The area is part of the traditional region of Lower Styria. It is now included with the rest of the municipality into the Podravje statistical region.[2]
The local church is dedicated to Saint Giles (Slovene: Sveti Egidij) and belongs to the Laporje parish. It was built between 1900 and 1903 on the site of an earlier churech, first mentioned in written documents dating to 1545.[3]
